Who Purchases Life Insurance Policies?

Currently there are approximately 40 institutional money sources that are purchasing existing life insurance policies. These institutions are some of the world’s largest financial entities and include: insurance companies, banks, mutual fund companies, and hedge funds.

It is also important to keep in mind that having relationships with all of the institutional money sources is a key element in securing the best price for a given life insurance policy.
